– Reiterates that Nigeria and Africa has lost a true Leader following President Buhari’s death
Senator Sadiq Suleiman Umar deeply saddened by the passing of His Excellency, former President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, which occurred in London on Sunday, July 13, 2025.
On behalf of myself, my family, and the good people of Kwara North Senatorial District, I extend heartfelt condolences to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, the entire Buhari family, and the people of Nigeria on this personal and painful loss.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Her Excellency, Mrs. Aisha Buhari, the Children, and all loved ones during this difficult time.
Indeed Nigeria and Africa at large has lost a great Leader!
We pray that Almighty Allah grants him forgiveness, mercy, and eternal rest in al-jannah Firdaus, and comforts the family and the nation with strength and patience.
