The Coalition of Kwara North Groups (CKNG) calls on Christian faithful to reflect deeply as they celebrate Christmas, which commemorates the birth of Jesus (AS), whose life embodies virtues such as joy, peace, humility, sacrifice, and love.
This celebration should remind everyone of the sacred and divine foundation of christians’ faith the love, humility, sacrifice, and obedience that give true meaning to the calling. Beyond rejoicing, the season challenges all faithful to emulate these virtues by walking in love, showing compassion, living righteously, and serving one another with sincerity of heart. By doing so, we can promote peaceful coexistence and shared prosperity within our society.
CKNG therefore prays that this season renews our collective commitments to reflect these godly virtues in our daily lives, enabling us to become true ambassadors of faith, peace, and hope within our families, communities, and the world at large.
We further pray that God Almighty grants divine protection and restores lasting peace to areas affected by banditry and kidnapping in Kwara North, Kwara State, and throughout Nigeria. May He surround us with His unfailing grace and fill our hearts and homes with enduring peace.
We wish you a blessed Merry Christmas and a fruitful year 2026 ahead.
