A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and 2027 Kwara North Senatorial aspirant, Dr. Mahmud Umar Muhammad, yesterday joined other APC party stakeholders and supporters on a solidarity rally in Patigi Local Government Area to mobilize support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the 2027 governorship ambition of Rt. Hon. Yakubu Danladi Salihu.
The rally, held at Idris Gana LGEA Primary School, Patigi, kicked off with a procession through Patigi Metropolitan and concluded at the residence of the Council Chairman.
Addressing attendees, Dr. Mahmud reaffirmed his commitment to the “2027 Kwara North for Governor” agenda, declaring Rt. Hon. Yakubu Salihu Danladi as his preferred candidate to succeed Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON.
“I urge all Kwarans to support the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and back Rt. Hon. Yakubu Salihu Danladi for Governor in 2027,” Dr. Mahmud said. “With his wealth of legislative and leadership experience, Danladi is capable of consolidating the achievements of His Excellency Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and moving Kwara State forward.”
The well-attended rally drew APC stakeholders, party executives, various women and youth groups, and members of the SYD Political Group.
