Dr. Mahmud Umar Muhammad Condoles Kaiama Over Deadly Attacks

Dr. Mahmud Umar Muhammad, PhD (Sodangi Etsu Patigi), Director of Community and Rural Development at the National Hydroelectric Power Producing Areas Development Commission (N-HYPPADEC) and a 2027 Kwara North Senatorial Aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has expressed deep condolences over the recent attacks on innocent civilians in Woro and Nuku communities of Kaiama Local Government Area of Kwara State.

In a statement made available to journalists on Wednesday, Dr. Mahmud commiserated with the Emir of Kaiama, His Royal Highness Alhaji Mu’azu Shehu Omar (Bagidi Kiyaru IV), the Chairman of Kaiama Local Government Council, Hon. Abdullahi Danladi, as well as the families of the victims and residents affected by the tragic incident.

He described the attacks as senseless and unfortunate, noting that they highlight the urgent need for unity, vigilance, and increased community cooperation in tackling insecurity. Dr. Mahmud urged residents to remain calm, support security agencies, and promptly report suspicious movements to relevant authorities.

The N-HYPPADEC director also commended the Kwara State Government for its swift response and proactive steps to safeguard lives and property, while praising security agencies for their continued efforts in combating terrorism, kidnapping, and other criminal activities in the state.

He prayed for the repose of the souls of those who lost their lives and asked God to grant strength and comfort to their families and the affected communities.
