The Coordinators of the Dr. Mahmud Umar Support Organization have met with Patigi District APC executives and home-based stakeholders to deliberate on political developments and community interests in Patigi Local Government Area.
During the meeting, the stakeholders commended Dr. Mahmud Umar for the remarkable development projects he has facilitated in Patigi LGA, as well as his unwavering contributions to the growth and success of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Patigi and Kwara State at large.
They described Dr. Mahmud Umar as a man of focus—dedicated, consistent, and deeply committed to the progress of communities across Patigi and the entire Kwara North Senatorial District. According to them, his leadership qualities continue to inspire confidence, unity, and sustainable development at all levels.
Furthermore, the stakeholders reaffirmed that, in line with the long-standing political tradition of Patigi LGA, the Senate position currently zoned to Patigi remains open to every qualified individual who wishes to aspire. They emphasized that Patigi LGA is welcoming to all credible and competent aspirants.
The stakeholders also dismissed as misleading reports suggesting that Patigi stakeholders have endorsed any particular candidate. They clarified that no endorsement has been made. When the appropriate time comes, they stressed, their support will be given to a credible, trustworthy, and community-focused aspirant who demonstrates genuine commitment to the development of Patigi LGA and Kwara North as a whole.
